Ustad Zakir Hussain the world's best tabla player was born to a renowned tabla player Ustad Allah Rakha. His birth place is Mumbai, where he completed his graduation. Many national, international awards and recognitions are bagged by him for his contribution to the world of music.
It is little known to anyone that he did act in few bollywood movies and in documentaries to name a few Saaz, Zakir and his friends.
One thing I would like say about this living legend is, I am watching him since my childhood but his appearance, charisma hasn’t changed a bit, I mean the air didn’t enter his head and he continues to be a down to the earth human being.
